Most sizing sites don’t say a word about how their content gets made. We think that’s backwards, so here’s exactly how it works.
Who Writes This
Claire Bennett writes or reviews every guide on this site. Her authority comes from 10+ years of hands-on fitting experience in specialty lingerie boutiques — not a medical or clinical credential. We say this plainly everywhere, including on every article byline, because pretending otherwise would be exactly the kind of fake-authority move we refuse to make.
No Fabricated Claims
We don’t invent certifications, don’t claim clinical partnerships that don’t exist, and don’t cite made-up statistics. If a number appears on this site (like a size conversion or a measurement range), it comes from documented, widely-used fitting methodology — see Our Fitting Process for the exact math behind every calculator.
Body-Positive by Policy, Not Just Marketing
Every page on this site is checked against one rule: the body is never the problem, only the bra. We don’t publish “fix your flaws” framing, we don’t imply an ideal body or cup size, and segmented calculators (teen, plus-size, senior, postpartum) are written to be specific and respectful — never a lesser category.
How We Handle Brand Mentions
When we describe how a brand tends to fit (see Brand Size Decoder), that reflects commonly reported fit patterns, not an official partnership or paid placement with that brand. We’re not paid to say a brand runs small or true-to-size.
Updates & Corrections
Sizing information and brand fit tendencies change over time. If you spot something outdated or incorrect, email hello@bra-sizecalculator.com — corrections get made, not buried.
What We Won’t Do
- We won’t claim a calculator is “100% accurate” — no online tool can promise that without an in-person fitting.
- We won’t frame any body type, age, or size as a problem to be fixed.
- We won’t copy another site’s wording or calculator logic — everything here, including the sizing math, was built independently for this site.
